Bio: Washington D.C. area project that started when vocalist Mike Vance and guitarist Robby Lee met through a musicians ad in a classified paper.  Initially going under the moniker Second Chance, the duo recruited bassist/drummer Mark Miley and began work on the first of several demo tapes.  The track “(Liberation From) The Blazing Wasteland” was later placed on the East Coast Metal compilation prior to a deal being signed with Talkingtown Records.  After permanently changing name to Armageddon, the group released its full length Talkingtown debut The Money Mask in 1989.

Of Interest: Bassist Dan Wilkinson (Taker) and drummer Joe Hasselvander (Raven) lended their abilities to The Money Mask.

Current Status: The Money Mask was re-issued on Retroactive Records in 2007.  Armageddon is reported to be in the planning stages of recording new material.
