Bio: History dates to late 2006 when vocalist Norm “Ski” Kiersznowski developed vision of a “metal ministry to be called Faith Factor” while on tour in Puerto Rico with mainstream heavy metal act Deadly Blessing.  Formed in New Jersey after Ski departed Deadly Blessing and recruited guitarists Chris “Moe” Matusieski and Blaine “Priest” Booth and rhythm section of Joe “Slayer Of Darkness” Manghan and Dan “Karaoke Kid” Jefferson. 

Faith Factor released a three song EP 07/07/07 on Metallic Archangel Records in summer of 2007 before signing with Retroactive Records for fall of 2008 full length debut Against A Darkened Sky.
 
Name Faith Factor implies three questions: What is your faith?  What do you believe in?  And what level in that belief are you?  Group considers itself “God’s Metal ministry” but is also known as “disciples of decibels” and the “metal messengers”.

Of Interest: Ski was a member of Deadly Blessing at the time it recorded its 1988 full length debut Ascend From The Cauldron.  He was also involved with early nineties bands Altered States and Obliterator.  Neither of the three is Christian.

Current Status: Plans to begin songwriting process for next album, The Wrath That Is Yet To Come, in early 2010.  New keyboardist in David Peters recruited.  Covered the song “Weapons Of Our Warfare” for the recently released Deliverance tribute CD while also covering “American Metal” for Lizzy Borden tribute CD Baptized In Blood.  Ski to contribute lead vocals to song “Cold Blooded Killer” on next Pastor Brad album, Break Out.
