
Bio: Came together in the mid-eighties when bassist Michael Ciado met vocalist Lisa Faxon through an ad placed in a Los Angeles area music paper. Initially got its start using the First Aid moniker but later changed name to Ransom. Recorded a 3 song demo, Once And For All, and placed track “Sin Killer” on the California Metal 2 (1988) compilation prior to signing with Intense Records.
Recorded 1991 Intense self-titled debut with guitarist Tony Ortiz and drummer Joe Galletta. Maintained same line up for Lanny Cordola produced sophomore effort Soul Asylum from 1992.
Current Status: Self-titled debut re-mastered and re-issued on Intense Millennium Records in 2011 with 3 songs from the Once And For All demo as bonus tracks.
