Bio: Saint rose out of the ashes of The Gentiles, a Salem, Oregon based group that included guitarist John Mahan and bassist Richard Lynch.  The Gentiles recorded its first and only demo in 1981 and disbanded a year later.

Saint came together when Lynch and Mahan later joined forces with vocalist Josh Kramer to record the 1984 debut EP Warriors Of The Son.  Later signing with Pure Metal Records, Saint followed up with the full length efforts Time’s End (from 1986 and with Mahan on guitar) and Too Late For Living (from 1988 and with new guitarist Dee Harrington). Work began on a third album but Saint broke up before the project could be completed.

A comeback album was recorded in 1999, the six song EP The Perfect Life that included Lynch, Harrington and new vocalist Tim Lamberson.

A second comeback following the turn of the century found Saint re-forming with Josh Kramer, Lynch and new guitarist Jerry Johnson to record the 2004 full length effort In The Battle.  The Mark, which featured Harrington on guitar but not Johnson, followed in 2006 while Crime Scene Earth, which featured Harrington and Johnson but Josh Kramer on only three songs, was released two years later.

Of Interest: Josh Kramer released a live album in 2006 entitled Josh Kramer Of Saint Live In Germany.  Josh also made a guest appearance on the 2008 album Preaching To The Perverted by the Australian group Templar.

Current Status: Saint completed work on its new album, Hell Blade, slated for an early 2010 release.  The group also plans to release a revised version of Crime Scene Earth in which Josh Kramer handles all vocal tracks.
